Red Lodge has many seasonal activities:  Hiking trails, biking, fishing creeks and lakes.  We are at the base of the Beartooth mountains.  We are 65 miles from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park.  We have several events in the summer.  The 4th of July is a fun time in Red Lodge.  We have a sanctioned rodeo, fireworks, and a large parade.  We have a songwriters festival that attracts many up and coming and professional songwriters from all over the country.  We have the Beartooth Rally that attracts Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world.  We have a classic car show that includes a real drag race.  There is always music and Shakespeare in the park.  We have running races throughout the summer.

Housekeeper

Wage: $10 /hour
Hours:  34-40 hours /week

Job duties may include, but are not limited to folding laundry, making beds, cleaning bathroom showers and toilets, general cleaning, washing windows, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, using general chemical cleaning products, emptying garbage cans, general cleaning up property grounds, cleaning breakfast area to include wiping down tables and doing some dishes. Additional job duties may include: Removing and collecting linens for laundering and transporting them to designated areas. Cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner. Dusting furniture and equipment. Emptying wastebaskets and cleaning them inside and out. Cleaning tiled floors door panels and shower curtains. Replenishing trash bags, soaps, bathroom items, and other supplies. Transporting all trash and waste to disposal areas, as instructed. Removing items from refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Cleaning refrigerator, stove, microwave, and any additional appliances inside and out. Loading and unloading dishes from dishwasher, drying dishes, and putting them away in proper places. Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Respond to and take appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints of guests. Keep supervisor/manager informed of situations relating to facility operation, patron complaints or concerns, accidents, emergency situations, damages, and potential safety hazards. Attend departmental and team meetings as well as participate in all additional training courses. If employee excels in job performance and has high English skills there may be potential for hours as Breakfast Cook or Front Desk if desired. Job duties may include cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, answering the phone, entering reservations on the computer, and excellent customer service skills, as well as other job duties as assigned.

Specific qualifications required:

Must have INTERMEDIATE English. Must have the ability to understand and respond to verbal instructions given in the English language, must be able to understand basic commands and duty requests and feel comfortable answering guest questions, must be able to lift 30 lbs, must have a good attitude, smile and be cheerful to guests and other employees to provide excellent customer service. Due to the duties of this job, employees can’t have allergies to cleaning chemicals or dirt/dust. Face masks may be provided, if needed. Must have ability to read, write, and understand instructions given in the English language.
