Cannon Beach is a very small town - regular population around 2,000. We are located on the Pacific Ocean in the northern part of the state of Oregon. This town is really considered a walking town, most who come here park their cars and do their sightseeing on foot. You would be experiencing a fairly rural, but affluent community. There are a number of small communities up and down the North Oregon coast which could be visited via bus. The City of Astoria (1/2 hour north) is the oldest settlement west of the Mississippi. The city of Portland is approximately 2 plus hours away (to the East) by bus. Portland is the largest city in the state of Oregon with a population of approximately 600,000. It is somewhat famous for its breweries and dining. Another 2 hours (or so) east of Portland is Mount Hood, another well known landmark.

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning rooms, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and doing laundry. You may have to use chemical cleaning products.

Cleaning of hotel rooms using appropriate methods including vacuuming, dusting, wiping and washing/sanitizing bathroom and kitchen floors, tubs, sinks, showers and commodes. Replace soiled linens, make beds, stock sundry items. Housekeepers can be assigned between 10 and 12 rooms per day depending on room size and hotel occupancy levels.
