About Piggly Wiggly:
The Piggly Wiggly Sister Bay is a grocery store located in Village of Sister Bay, Wisconsin in a popular area known as Door County. During the spring and summer months tourists from Chicago, Milwaukee, and other cities come to Door County to enjoy theater productions, art, and outstanding outdoor activities in the many parks and recreational areas in the county. The store has undergone an extensive remodeling and expansion. You'll be working in a new facility. We're looking for enthusiastic people who want to work in a fast paced business. Our staff will appreciate your efforts, as many Summer Work Travel Alumni maintain long-term relationships with our permanent staff.
Deli Clerk
Wage: $10.00 /hour
Hours: 40-48 hours /week
Duties:
● Maintain a neat, well- groomed appearance at all times
● Prepare meals, salads, and sandwiches
● Prepare, package, price and stock product in the Deli cases. Insure that product is properly rotated according to the product date of freshness
● Frequently inspect Deli sales area and remove damaged or dated product
● Keep Deli display cases fully stocked at all times
● Must wear an approved hat at all times
● Work in compliance of the state and federal health code regulations, including all laws pertaining to food safety, health, and packaging requirements
● Perform price check functions for cashiers
Produce Clerk
Wage: $10.00 /hour
Hours: 40-48 hours /week
Duties:
● Prepare and stock produce on the shelves and cases of the Produce Department
● Ensure that product is properly rotated according to the product date of freshness
● Frequently inspect produce sales area and product display areas to remove damaged or dated product
● Keep produce shelves and display cases fully stocked at all times
● Perform price check functions for cashiers
● Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times
Bakery Clerk

● Assist in all baking operations
● Prepare, package, price and stock product in the Bakery cases
● Ensure that product is properly rotated according to the product date of freshness
● Frequently inspect Bakery sales area and remove damaged or dated product
● Keep Bakery display cases fully stocked at all times
● Must wear approved hat at all times
● Work in compliance with the state and federal health code regulations including all laws pertaining to food safety, health and packaging requirements
● Perform price check functions for cashiers

Cashier
Wage: $10.00 /hour

Duties:
● Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times
● Scan and weigh and enter the customers purchases of product
● Recognize various types of produce merchandise
● Count the cash drawer before and after the end of the work shift
● Maintain the check-out area in a clean condition
● Become familiar with United States currency
● Clean and stock shelves when not performing cashier duties
● Require photo Identification from customers under the age of 30 for the purchase of alcoholic beverages and cigarettes
● Gather Grocery Carts from the parking area and return to storage location
Meat Clerks

Grocery Clerk

Duties:

● Keep store shelves, coolers and product display freezer cases fully stocked at all times
● Assist customer in placing purchased groceries in bags as trained
● Perform price check functions for cashiers
● Assist customers, if necessary, with carry-out service and loading of purchases to their vehicles
● Gather shopping carts and return them to designated areas
● Assist in bagging groceries and loading into customer's vehicles
Dairy Clerk
